My email to Jan today bounced back so I Googled her and was shocked to find a death notice. Janice and I became good friends and email pals and last touched base when we lost our house in Harvey. I am the third of Charlotte and Bill Ferguson’s daughters. We all treasured Janice. I hope someone will contact me. I have a business website and you can just Google my name.

Jan was an amazing knitter! I remember going through her knitting books and finding fun patterns to knit on the long ski trips that I took in the winter. She has such a great stash of cookies at Christmas, no one could eat just one (or ten). May you rest in peace and come back as a cat in your next life Jan!!!
December 3, 2017 | Carlton Valocourt - Albuquerque, NM -- United States
I remember Janice very well especially on our
class trip to Washington D C in Feb 1957
Jan was a quiet classmate and as it said in
the bio of the "Oracle" year book, she was a determined girl who always studies very hard
for all her "A" grades and was very deserving
of the co-valedictorian of our Class.
Sincere condolences to her entire Family.
Carlton (AKA Carl) Valcourt
on page 73 if our "Oracle" year book.
God Bless

We shall miss the good times we spent with Jan as neighbors on Taylor Pond -- sharing meals, playing board games, telling stories and enjoying the sunsets. There are also fond memories of excursions and adventures, and lots of laughs. Her friendship meant a lot to us. Our condolences to her family and friends. We hold you in our hearts.

Since my move from Maine, Janice and I usually encountered each other at Taber’s during my visits to Auburn. She was a delightful conversationalist. Our rare meetings were a highlight of the day. She was interested to hear what I was up to though years had passed between our meetings.
Sincere condolences to Tom, Jim, Judy and Sue and all her nieces and nephews.
