What a beautiful person. I hadn't checked in with Vee for a while and wanted to see what new adventure she was sharing. What a shock, but knowing Vee for years through blogging, I know this was one as born-again Christians that we all look forward to one day. I'll get to meet her for real in Heaven! I still remember those special times she and John had with their grandsons and now they're no longer little guys. My deepest condolences to her family. She was a wonderful lady and a blessing to each of us who got to know her through her blog.

Vee was a longtime blogging friend of mine and I will miss her faithful comments on my blog. We also shared the same birthday and many views on faith and life. I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.

I knew Vee through her blog as we began blogging around the same time. I always enjoyed her posts and friendship through the years, and I am sad to hear this news! My condolences to Vickie’s family. Vickie was married to my dad, John Swanson. I’m so thankful that they had such a God blessed love for almost 8 years together. I’m also thankful for Vickie’s family’s link to her blog. I was introduced there to a side of my dad I never knew. I know they continue their friendship in the Lord’s presence now!

Family members, I am a fellow blogger living in New England who "met" Vee through her blog posting. I was saddened to read of her passing and offer my sincere condolences on the passing of your loved family member.
Vee had not been posting regularly and I would always check to see if by chance she had a new post. As time went by and there was no updates, the "worst" case scenario is always expected - illness or death.
Her blog post were always enjoyed by myself and fellow bloggers. She will be missed by many others who only met her online as well. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I “met” Vickie, on her blog many years ago. She encouraged me as I started blogging. I have read every one of her posts. I’ve been wondering how she was doing…just was thinking of her yesterday.
My sincere condolences to her family that she loved so well, I am so sorry for your loss.
I am thinking of her joyful reunion with her beloved John, Nan, mother and father.
Vee was a big presence in the blogging community and I know she will be missed by many.
