Steff and Jenn ... words as you know can't express how sorry I am to learn of Floyd's passing . I had just learned July 16 , 2018 but still sad to hear .
I remember Floyd from our friendship back in the 70's and remember seeing and talking with him in Buick in the 90's as I ran my vending route in #36 . Floyd was a gentle giant .. a teddy bear and was always kind and thoughtful.I was shocked to hear of his passing .
My thoughts are with you and all family that loved him and got to go on his journey of life . He will always be missed by all that knew him .

Dearest Stephaney,
Please know how much I am praying for you all! Words cannot express the shock and sorrow that is in my heart for you and your precious family. I just remember the last time I saw Floyd was downtown volunteering at the Crim with the Lions Club. I came up and he gave me that Big Old Bear Hug!!! It was right before you all were moving out east. I remember all the times he helped you to help me for the families at my school, Carpenter Road to have food for the holidays!! I hope these memories will make you smile and know that I adored him as I do you! I thank God everyday for putting you and Floyd into my life. It is so hard to believe Stephaney that you & Floyd moved to Brunswick, ME from Flint, MI! I remember being at your reception so many years ago! You made such a cute couple! Don & I met through square dancing at Flint Community College!! Don was in the Navy & I was a newbie (o: We, also, were part of the Sage Swingers after moving to Bath in 1990 but had to stop when I broke my leg. Our hearts certainly hurt for you & your daughter Jennifer and her husband. I would love to see you again! You'll all be in our prayers!

Dear friend,
I have only met Floyd twice and was touch at how kind and peaceful he was. Never did he ever show sadness or anger but only joy and relax. I enjoyed the time that was given to me to converse and get to know him. Floyd, may you rest in peace and may soul be bless with great happiness.

Stephaney and Jenny, Terrie and I are so sorry and saddened of this news. We really enjoyed our times with you two at East Flint Lions Club functions and our Halloween and R.V. party at the clubhouse. As a fellow local 599 member my bond with Floyd was even stronger.I always got a big hearty chuckle when he would throw an ism on a subject he would be talking about . I am so glad that we got to meet and become friends.
