Condolences to Mrs. Coombs and family. I'll remember Lloyd as a person who was able to help when coming to SUPSHIP and was placed in the middle of an ongoing stand-off between two department heads. Thank you, Lloyd. Thank you Brother. Rudi.

I officiated swim meets with Lloyd for many years. He was a fine swim official, a good friend and, most importantly, a real gentleman. I will miss our poolside days at Bowdoin.
