Well Steve you are surely missed here at the beach! Your smiling face and always kind words on your way in meant a lot to me. I was just so saddened when I heard! I think of you often and can almost see you sitting in your chair, warming up before your swim. We miss you! I just know you must have touched so many people in your 60 years! My thoughts go out to all your family and close relations. You were all so lucky to have such a wonderful man in your lives!

To all surviving Loves of Steve, my best wishes your grief is surpassed and overwhelmed with wonderful memories of times well-spent with Steve.
I cherish the few times spent with his soft-voiced and gentle self. I know for a fact your old friends (myself included) could have enjoyed just one more visit with you, Steve. Your name was always mentioned and you were often missed when we all got together. We didn't mind your scars, we were happy when you were there and coping!
