Biography:

Steven R. Wilbur, 60, of Mechanic Falls passed away on Wednesday, February, 28, 2024 at CMMC in Lewiston.
He was born in Bar Harbor on December 23, 1963, son of Leroy and Marilyn (Bunker) Harris. Steve grew up and was educated in the Franklin area. Steve worked a variety of jobs throughout his life, mostly in the cleaning and maintenance industry. Steve was a quiet person who preferred to keep to himself. He loved his family and was especially proud of his daughter, Jalaine and grandson, Ryan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his family. Steve was predeceased by his father, Leroy, mother, Marilyn, step-father, James Harris, sister Shirley Hood, brother Jerry, brother-in-law Gary Tracy all of Franklin and his beloved dog, Jazz. Steve is survived by his wife, Sherry of Mechanic Falls, daughter Jalaine and her husband Ron St. Pierre of Lisbon, step-daughter Baye Spencer of Auburn and her partner, Michael Knowlton of Lewiston, sister Deborah Freeman and her husband Richard Freeman of Franklin, sister Terry Tracy of Franklin, and grandson Ryan Wilbur-Downs of Lisbon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A future date for a celebration of life will be announced.
