Biography:

WEST BATH – Jean E. White, 80, passed away on November 5, 2018 after battling breast cancer for 10 ½ years. She was born August 3, 1938 in Lewiston, ME. She was the daughter of Albert E. Pettingill and Olive (Tainter) Ward.

She graduated from Winthrop High School in 1956. She was a member of the Winthrop High Band. She married Albert J. White Jr. of W. Bath on September 28, 1956. She was a cub scout Den Mother for her four sons. While living in Brewer she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and a member of the Officer's Wives Club.

She is predeceased by her parents and step father, Robert L. Ward, and her husband of 60 years, Albert J. White Jr.

She is survived by her four sons, Michael and wife Nancy White of Lake Dallas, TX; Mark White and Rod Kuhlman of Stateline, NV; Terry and wife Melissa White of Hermon; and Russell White and partner Velvet Brown of Bangor; four grandsons, Phillip and wife Monica White of Argyle, TX; Russell and wife Holly White of Corinth, ME; Brandon and Zachary White of Bangor; two granddaughters, Sunny White of Bangor, and Amanda and husband Brandon Hayes of Denton, TX; two great grandsons, Isaac White of Corinth, and Easton White of Argyle, TX; one brother, Jim and wife Pam Ward of W. Bath; one sister, Patricia Roy of Jackman; two nieces, Karla and husband Jamie Brown of Clinton, and Gena Ward of Brunswick; nephew, Andrew and wife Erin of MD; two aunts, several cousins, and a special family, Patrick Jane and Kayla Dewitt of Michigan.

Services will be held at the Phippsburg Congregational Church on Friday November 9th, 2018 at 2 p.m.
