Biography:

Madelyn S. Weeks, 91, of Manchester, died on October 10^th, 2013 at Maine Medical Center.

 

She was born on December 2^nd, 1922 in Lisbon Falls, the daughter of Frank and Ida (Grund) Sparsam.

 

Madelyn lived in Manchester and summered in Owls Head. She retired from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.  She was a member of the Manchester Community Church.

 

Madelyn enjoyed hosting family celebrations and the more the merrier. She loved reading and doing the daily crossword puzzles.

 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth R. Weeks; parents; and sister Francis Woodward. Madelyn is survived by her son David R. Weeks and his wife Gloria of Manchester; daughter Dianne Collins and her husband Charles of Rockport; grandchildren Eric Prosser of Freedom, Ellen Prosser of Peabody, MA, Michael Weeks of Vassalboro, Matthew Weeks of Portland, Nathan Weeks of Manchester; great-grandson Colby Prosser of Etna.
