Timothy Paul "Tim" Webster

Biography:

Timothy Paul Webster - “Tim” - 53, of Auburn, died Wednesday, May 25, at the Auburn Hospice Home with family and friends at his side.

 

Born February 8th, 1958, in Portland, Maine and lived in Scarborough twenty-five years before moving to Auburn. Tim is survived by his parents, Paul and Freda Webster of Bangor;  his sister and brother in law, Paula (Webster) and Joe Benoit; his daughter and son in law, Amanda (Webster) and Kevin Bengtson of Aurelia, Iowa; his two granddaughters, Liberty and Brylee Bengtson; two nieces, Bethany Benoit Turek and Betsy Benoit Varian and nephew, Benjamin Benoit; and many great neices and nephews; uncles, aunts and cousins; and his fiance Lisa Shorette of Auburn.

 

An avid sports lover, Tim played baseball, basketball, and soccer through his school days in Scarborough and his love of sports took him to a Pool “Team” State Championship as well as a Pool “Singles” State Championship.  Always an outdoorsman, Tim could often be found on a golf course and could never get enough hunting and fishing during the summer and autumn months.  He often went to Copeland Plantation hunting at his favorite spot and fished for hours on Sebouous Lake and Lake Auburn with friends. 

 

A memorial service and celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Sunday afternoon, May 29 at 1:00, at High Street Congregational Church, 106 Pleasant Street, Auburn.   Following the service, friends and family are invited to stay for a fellowship gathering in the reception hall.
