William L. Warren

Biography:

TOPSHAM - William L. Warren, 91, of Topsham, Maine died on July 2, 2017.
He was born on April 12, 1926, the son of Lawrence F. and Elva M. Warren

He was involved in the Boy Scouts of America and Little League Baseball.
He enjoyed his family, working around his camp on Sebec Lake, gardening, golfing, skiing and playing bridge. He followed the stock market and various investments closely.
He enjoyed being involved in any and all home projects with his children and grandchildren.

After being discharged from the US Navy, he attended the University of Maine and graduated in the first Engineering Physics class in 1949. He then moved to Rochester, New York where he started his career with Taylor Instruments. He worked in manufacturing engineering for General Motors/Delco Division before retiring from Eastman Kodak Company in 1986.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Cindy W. Smith of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 2016.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth B. Warren of 64 years; son, Richard and his wife Sandy of Freeport, Maine; grandchildren, Cory Warren, Kyle Warren, Janice Smith and Cheryl (Smith)
Rickert; and a great-grandchild, Lucas Rickert.

A graveside service with military honors will be held in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine at a later date.
