Anna Santa Vitiello

Biography:

Anna Vitiello, 89, of Lewiston passed away peacefully on February 14th at d'Youville Pavilion. She was born in Camden, Maine on February 9, 1929 to Antonino and Giovanna Sparta. Anna graduated from Bates College and was a long-time resident of Lewiston. She was a teacher at Lewiston High School before retiring in 1986. An avid bridge player, she also enjoyed playing cribbage and bingo.
She is survived by her son, Vincent Vitiello and his wife, Cecilia Tsao; her three grandchildren, Sofia, Vincenzo, and Rosanna Vitiello; her niece and nephew, Jane Wagner and Ken Sparta and their families.
Visiting hours will be held from 1:30-3:30 PM on Friday, February 23 at Funeral Alternatives Group on 25 Tampa Street in Lewiston.  A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m.  Burial will be private at a later date.
