Obituary for Mrs Velzora L. Tibbetts

AUBURN – Velzora L. Tibbetts, 69 a resident of Sabattus passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Androscoggin Hospice House.

She was born in Berlin, NH May 9, 1950, the daughter of Howard and Elsie (Conner) Douglass. Vel grew up in Upton and attended Errol and Upton schools. She graduated in 1968 from Fryeburg Academy. She married Michael Tibbetts December 27, 1969

She loved snowmobiling, 3 wheeling, painting and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers John and Nelson, and her sister Ann Greenleaf. She is survived by her husband, Michael Tibbetts of Sabattus, her son Michael Tibbetts II and his wife Michele of Poland, her son Eric Tibbetts of Litchfield, her granddaughter Samantha Powell of Gardiner, her sister Mary Davis of Bethel and a nephew, Dustin Douglass and his companion Susan Smith of Litchfield who were very dear to her. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 10 a.m. At Upton Cemetery, Mill Road, Upton.
