Donald A. Theriault

Biography:

Donald A Theriault (DT) 77, of Lewiston, went home to be with God on February 7, 2024 at Hospice House of Auburn, with his family by his side.  He was born October 14, 1946 to Arthur and Betty Theriault.

Don graduated from Lewiston High School in 1966, and went on to join the Navy from 1966 to 1969.  He worked as a licensed electrician most of his life and was a volunteer fire fighter for North New Portland, where he resided at the time.

Don loved sports.  He played hockey and softball for some of Lewistons' local teams.  He played tennis and golf as well.  In his younger years, he played the drums in his band with his twin brother Ron Theriault (RT) called "Ronnie and the Tornados."  He loved the great outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.  Most of all his love for his family and friends was his greatest love.

He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Betty Theriault.  He is survived by his wife Phyllis Theriault, his son Don Theriault Jr and wife Karen, daughter Denise Theriault and partner Mike Valliere, son Michael Riggs and wife Summer, son Christopher Theriault and partner Chianne.  His grandchildren Ryan, Brian, Danika, Emily, Everlee, Cassidy, Shyla and Jaiilyn.  His great grandchildren, Bailey, Teagan, Boston and Willow.  His twin brother Ron Theriault (RT) and his sidekick and beloved Boxer Rocco.

Dons loving, kind heart and his amazing sense of humor will be missed by many.  "Fly High Daddy"

Services will be held in the spring at The Veterans Memorial Cemetery where he will be honored.  A celebration of life will follow.  Date and location will be announced in the spring for family and friends.
