Serhii Sytnik

Biography:

Serhii Sytnik died on December 5, 2022 at just 19 years of age. He is survived by his parents, Nathan and Gina Stearman, and siblings Abigayle and Gabriel. He is also survived by a brother and sister in Ukraine.

Sergey loved life. He could be seen riding wheelies on his bicycle on downtown streets. He loved swimming and horseback riding. Those who knew him would describe him as a gentle soul—he especially loved little kids and was so good with them. He was an avid soccer fan and player. He also had a flare for art, enjoying drawing and crafting with his hands. A strong, husky kid, he also loved cooking tasty meals for his family.

As looked to his future, his biggest dream was serving in the Ukrainian military defending his homeland. Tragically, this dream was cut short and there are many who loved him and miss him dearly. Rest in peace, dear boy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 4 PM at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 333 Maine St, Brunswick, ME 04011
