Biography:

AUBURN-Joanne M. Stinchfield Kendall, 84, of Lewiston died Sunday December 4^th, 2016 at Clover Manor in Auburn.

She was born in Norridgewock on February 7^th, 1932, a daughter of Phillip and Ruth Stinchfield. She graduated from Gardiner High School, and later graduated from The University of Maine at Farmington.

Joanne taught elementary school in local Maine schools. In 1955 she married Marvin Kendall.

She is survived by her daughter Leigh and husband Kevin Strout, and Sue and her husband, Roger Canuel; grandchildren Katie Strout Hyde and husband Chris, Heidi Canuel Wieland and husband Dieter, and Ryan Canuel; great grandchildren Dalton Gendron, Kyleigh, Tyler, and Tristan Hyde, Isabelle Trombley, and Ethan and Everett Wieland; sister Judith Custer and husband Earle; a niece Suzanne Agasi; and a nephew David Agasi.

She was predeceased by her husband Marvin; a grandson Christopher Gendron; and her parents.

KENDALL- Joanne M. Kendall, 84, of Lewiston died Sunday, December 4^th, 2016. At Joanne’s request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral, but a celebration of her life on Sunday December 11^th,  from noon till 3 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association
