Biography:

Susan passed away in a peaceful manner while sleeping at her residence on Tuesday, July 2nd. Born on November 9th, 1953, she was the daughter of Kenneth Sr. and Dorothy (Paiton) Peterson. Susan completed her education in Raymond and Auburn, graduating in 1972. It was in that same year that she met Norris Stevens, who she lovingly called Steve, and they remained partners for life.

Sue worked as a seamstress and enjoyed creating crafts and quilts in her spare time. She had a passion for visiting the ocean and Sebago Lake, as well as spending quality time with her family, playing cards and sharing laughter together.

Her daughters Lyndsay Stevens and Kelly Stevens with fiancé Donovan Smith, along with her sisters Margaret (Peg) Malloy, Karen Peterson, and Jill Peterson, and her brother Thomas Peterson, will deeply miss her. Additionally, her six cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Ian, Alex, Matthew, Rachel, and Isaac, will also greatly feel her absence.

Her husband, Norris Stevens, and her parents, sisters Judith Pike and Janice Willey, as well as brother Kenneth (Pete) Peterson Jr., passed away before her.

There will be visiting hours on Friday July 12th from 3-5 PM at Funeral Alternatives on 25 Tampa Street Lewiston, ME.
