Biography:

Gerard A. St. Pierre Sr., 80, of Lewiston and Van Buren, died unexpectedly at E.M.M.C. in Bangor on February 17^th, 2011.

He was born on April 16^th, 1930 in Keegan, ME.

Gerard was a long time truck driver having worked primarily for Sableman Heel.

He was a member of Holy Family Church in Lewiston.

Among his many hobbies he especially enjoyed driving his car, travelling, going to casinos, and dining out.

Gerard is survived by his daughter Judy “Diane” Michaud; sons Gerard Jr. and Claude A. St. Pierre; granddaughters Buffie Crocker and Rebecca L. St. Pierre; great-grandchild Devin G. Woodsome; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and wife Juliette St. Pierre.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, February 20^th, from 11 AM to 1 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 1 PM at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa Street, Lewiston. Committal services will be held privately at St. Peter’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to  your local chapter of The American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association.
