Rachel St. Pierre

Biography:

Rachel St. Pierre, 72, of Westbrook passed away Friday January 14^th after a short battle with cancer.

 

Rachel was born in Westbrook on November 27, 1938. She was the daughter of Arthur and Audrey St. Pierre also of Westbrook. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1957. She was employed by the Sothern New England Telephone Company and in 1963 was transferred to Hartford Connecticut.

 

Rachel spent 40 years in Connecticut, retired in 2001 where she returned to her Westbrook home. While living at Longfellow Place in Westbrook, Rachel was always available to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed helping those that needed transportation to doctors appointments, prescriptions filled etc. Rachel also donated much time bringing clothing donations to the Preble Street Shelter and knitting “kitty” blankets for the Westbrook Animal Shelter.

 

Rachel leaves behind two very special friends, Dorothy Tracy of Westbrook and Fran Gallagher of Springfield Massachusetts.
