Beverly (Rogers) Snow

Biography:

Beverly (Rogers) Snow, 92, died May 28, 2013 in Auburn, Maine.  She was born November 3, 1920 in Stoneham, Massachusetts, daughter of Chester A. Rogers and Gladys (Anderson) Rogers.  She was a 1938 graduate of Stoneham High School and a 1942 graduate of Simmons College, with a post-graduate degree from Prince Program in Retail Management.  She held the office of Worthy Advisor in the Masonic International Order of the Rainbow in the Stoneham chapter, as well as being an officer on the state level.  Prior to her marriage, she was a manager at The Gilchrest Company in Boston.

She married Kenneth L. Snow in Stoneham on September 7, 1947 and was married for 62 years.  The Snows lived in Reading, Mass., and relocated to Waldoboro, Maine in 1961, where they lived for 40 years.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Waldoboro, was active in the church sewing club, and worked as assistant librarian at the Waldoboro Public Library for several years.  She is survived by two children, son Brian Snow and wife Linda of Auburn, and daughter Diane Mills and husband Michael of Northbridge, Mass.; grandchildren Christopher Snow and wife Jessica of Groton, Mass., Bethany Snow of Pawtucket, R.I., Brent Mills of Somerville, Mass., and Eric Mills of Norwood, Mass.; and two great grandsons, Trent and Parker Snow.  She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Ken.
