Biography:

David Riley Snow, Pownal, Maine, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

David was born May 13, 1964 to Luther L and Evelyn J Snow of Pownal. He was a graduate of Freeport High School. He attended CMCC in Auburn for automotive technology.

During his life he worked for Saunders Brothers, Hancock Lumber as an expert Log Scaler and Fabricator and for the last 25 years as a self employed residential contractor.

Enjoyed fishing, working on his land to keep the woods healthy by constantly managing the trees on his property, while also helping friends with their firewood.

A man with a huge heart, go-to guy for friends for anything needing repair. Woodsman, naturalist, knowledge of anything and everything outdoors.

Began his love of boating and fishing as a child on Sebao Lake. He spent the last ten summers at Etna Pond, Carmel, ME. He called it his happy place.

Predeceased his father, Luther L Snow and his wife Cheryl Snow

Survived by his mother, Evelyn Snow, Sister Leona J Hall and her husband Michael F Hall; nephew Andrew D Hall and his wife Annie; Niece Erin E Jackson and her husband Ben. Long time partner Linda Maddox Googins.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter in honor of his beloved dog Rusty.

Pownal Cemetery graveside service only, open to family and friends, Saturday, October 28th at 10am.
