Georgianna Marie Saucier

Biography:

Georgianna Saucier—Litchfield—Georgiana Saucier died Sunday June 25 at the home of her daughter Debbie and husband Joe in Litchfield with her family at her side. She was born in Lewiston on April 26, 1943, a daughter of James and Verna Voisine Saucier. Georgianna attended St. Mary School. She then married Paul Soucier who predeceased her. She then married Rodney Hathorne. Georgianna worked as a homemaker most of her life. She also worked as a cook and CNA. She was involved in parish life at Prince of Peace Parish. Georgianna loved to bake, play bingo and cards with her family. In addition to her parents and first husband she was predeceased by her son Roger Soucier and two brothers and a sister. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Wing and husband Joe, Linda Soucier and partner, Glenn Varney, sons, Wayne Hathorne and Michael Hathorne, all of Litchfield, brothers, George Saucier and wife Anita, Martin Saucier and wife Carlene, Donald Saucier and wife Sheila, Richard Saucier and wife Kim and Nelson Saucier and sister, Mildred Cyr and partner, Jack and Jim Boutinier, Georgianna's partner, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 29 from 11:a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa Street, Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, 122 Ash Street, Lewiston. A committal service will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Cemetery, Switzerland Road, Lewiston.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice for allowing Georgianna's wishes to pass away at home among family.   Arrangements by Funeral Alternatives, Lewiston.
