Biography:

Debra M Ruarke, age 68 of Brunswick passed away peacefully in Lewiston on April 3, 2024 with her sister and caretaker by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on February 26, 1956 to Amedee L Emond and Jeannine Lavalle Emond. 

Some of her interests were reading, crocheting, puzzles, and going to Foxwoods with her sister. She spent many weekends with Linda playing cards, games, eating out at restaurants or ordering in, talking while going for a drive for fun, and don't forget shopping.

Debra was retired from many years at BIW with her loving husband Steve. 

She is predeceased by her parents, sister Susan St. Pierre, husband Steve who passed away February 14, 2024, two sons Matthew and Christopher Rogers. 

Debra is survived by her siblings, Linda Emond of Lewiston, Karen St Hilaire of Sabattus, Michael St. Hilaire of Boise Idaho, and her beloved dog Sky who is now living with Linda. 

At her request, there will be no service. Linda would like to thank hospice for their care and concern and special friend Bambi Brousseau who stayed overnight offering any support and help to administer meds to keep Debbie comfortable.
