Biography:

Lewiston- Andrew Roy, 46, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully surrounded by close family on July 7, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital following a brief illness.

Andy was born on December 18, 1975 in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Carleen (Jordan) Roy and Michael Roy.  He graduated from Leavitt Area High School and followed his passion of becoming an excellent cook while also being the primary caregiver for his mother.  Most of all, he loved cooking for friends and family.

Andy will be best remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laugh, and boisterous aura.  He had the unique ability to see the humor in situations others might miss, and the delivery of what he was thinking often resulted in heavy laughter from anyone within earshot. As the life of the party, his ability to make others feel special endeared him to so many friends. 

Andy was preceded in death by his father Michael Roy, of Livermore; and his son Jordan Roy of Leeds.  

He will be dearly missed by his daughter Hailey Roy and granddaughter Amelia, of Auburn; his mother Carleen Roy, of Lewiston; his stepmother Carol Roy, of Livermore; his brother Tom Roy and fiancée Stacey Isaac of Arundel; and his nephews Colby and Brayden Roy, of Arundel.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at his brother's home in Arundel. All are welcome to attend.  The address is 29 Willow Lane, Arundel, ME 04046
