Biography:

Marie-Ange Roy, age 87, of Lewiston, died peacefully Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Russell Park Manor. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on June 18, 1931, to Philippe and Emelia Therrien Pratt.

Educated in local schools. She married Donald P. Roy on May 31st, 1954. He passed away on January 27th,2018.

Marie was a devoted wife and homemaker for 63 years. She enjoyed singing in the choir at Holy Family Church and making homemade crafts to give as Christmas gifts. She loved to have company and visit with family and friends. Her smile and kind words were always heartwarming.

Marie is survived by a son Andre, Five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, Sister-in-law Juliette Brawn and husband Don of Augusta, and many nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, her husband, four brothers, Gerald, Roland, Roger, and Bertrand Pratt; and five sisters, Theresa Pratt, Annette Hamann, Rita Galipeau, Jeannine Ayotte, and Lorraine Roy.

The family would like to thank the staff at Russell Park Manor for their kind and compassionate care of Marie.  Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa Street, Lewiston from 5-7 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 75 Northern Avenue, Augusta.
