Ryan-Eric Lon Richardson, 35, passed away on April 17, 2025, in Auburn, Maine. Born on February 26, 1990, in Lewiston, Maine, Ryan lived a life full of energy, adventure, and deep love for his family and friends.
From a young age, Ryan embraced the world with open arms and an open heart. He was known for his big bear hugs, infectious smile, and unmistakable laugh, these gifts he shared freely with everyone around him. His generous spirit was evident in the way he would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Friendly and helpful by nature, Ryan made lasting impressions wherever he went.
Ryan had a deep passion for the outdoors. He found joy and freedom in nature—whether camping under the stars, hiking rugged trails, mining for rocks, cliff jumping into cool waters, or casting a line while fishing. These adventures were more than hobbies; they were expressions of his vibrant spirit and love for life. He walked on the edge not out of recklessness but out of a desire to experience life fully and fearlessly.
Above all else, Ryan loved his family fiercely and unconditionally. He often spoke about his children with immense pride and affection. He also cherished time spent with other children in his life as the fun uncle type—always ready with laughter and playfulness that lit up any room.
Ryan is survived by his mother Shelley Francis, his sister Kimberly Langlois, husband Shawn Langlois and their daughter Adalynn. his children Niomi, Lyla, Eric, Gemiana, Rhyann, and Skylar. His aunt and uncle Angela and Patrick Conway. His close cousins, Katie Wing, Troy Littlefield, Alivia Conway, Angelina Conway, Patrick Conway and Allie Conway. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Eric Richardson and grandmothers Helen Cox and Cathy Carney.
Services will be held on June 14, 2025 at East Auburn Baptist Church 560 Park Ave, Auburn, ME. Visitation is from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, service is at 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. At 12:00 we will be having a light lunch in honor of Ryan right at the church.
