Patrick Michael Quirion

Biography:

Augusta-Patrick Michael Quirion, 66, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 17, 2016 at Maine General Medical Center, Augusta.

Patrick had been in declining health for several years due to complications of diabetes and renal failure.

He was born in Augusta on May 27, 1949 the son of Donald J. Quirion and Lorraine Beaudry Quirion.

Patrick was employed by the State of Maine for 37 years before retiring on September 1, 2011 due to illness.

He is survived by his mother Lorraine Beaudry Quirion, very special uncle and aunt Valmond and Lorraine Gregoire Beaudry and his aunt Ann Quirion, several cousins, including lucette Vachon Fecteau and many friends that he made throughout his 66 years of life.

Patrick was an avid Red Sox fan, had a love of the ocean and music.

Patrick was predeceased by his father Donald J. Quirion in 2001, paternal grandparents Aime’ and Yvonne Quirion and, maternal grandparents George and Marie Ange Vachon Beaudry.

The family wants to thank the Staff at Maine General Medical Center, Gray Birch Long Term Care and the Kennebec Kidney Center for the excellent care afforded to Patrick.  A special thank you to Fr. Paul Marquis.
