Biography:
AUBURN – Lorraine R. Provencher, 70, of Sabattus, passed away on May 2nd, 2010, at the Hospice with her loving family by her side.
She was born on April 18, 1940 in Lewiston, the daughter of Henry and Alice (Roy) Jacques.
Lorraine went to Lewiston Schools and then went on to work for many years at Clark Shoe, followed by 15 years at Central Maine Medical Center, and then retired from T.D. Bank.
She met her husband Joseph at Clark Shoe and they went on to be married on September 26th, 1964. They are long time residents of Sabattus.
Lorraine enjoyed camping and playing bingo. She was a member at Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph; daughters Cathy Landry and husband Peter, Tammy Hall and husband Lawrence; sister Theresa Sirois of Az.; grandchildren Joe Provencher, Katie Hall, Chad and Alex Landry; and a great grandchild Maddisin Mercier. She was predecease by her parents.

PROVENCHER Lorraine R., 70, of Sabattus, passed away on May 2nd in Auburn. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at Funeral Alternatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at Holy Cross Church, Lewiston. Committal service will be held privately.
