Constance "Connie" Lee Pray

Biography:

LEWISTON-Constance “Connie” Lee Pray, 69, of Auburn, went home to see Jesus on June 15, 2011,  at Montello Manor in Lewiston after a long illness with COPD. 

Connie was born in Auburn on Dec. 06, 1941 the daughter of Charles and Norrine Pray.  She attended school in Turner, Auburn, and New Gloucester.  She made her home on Lake St., In Auburn for the most of her adult life. 

She worked at supreme slipper in Lewiston for many years and was also a crossing guard for Auburn Schools. 

 After her retirement she enjoyed decorating her home, weekly trips shopping, going out to eat, and going to church.  She also enjoyed her many cats, people, and her LORD.  She was always happy around her friends, Diane, Linda, and many more.  She loved her church and Pastor Beaumier. 

Connie was predeceased by her parents and her brother in law Craig Larlee. 

She is survived by two sons; Jeffrey Hobson and Cheryl of Poland, and Ronald Hobson and Michelle of Phillips. One daughter; Julie Hobson of Monmouth; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, two brothers Chase Pray, Greg Pray and his wife Dawn, three sisters; Betty McCrillis and husband Henry, Cathy Lelansky and husband John, and Peggy Larlee.  A special thanks to everyone at Montello Manor for their wonderful care.  

Visiting Hours will be held at Funeral Alternatives on Saturday, June 18 from 11am to 1pm with the funeral service to begin at 1pm.  Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner St., Auburn

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Connie’s memory to to Harvest Hills Church, 89 Broadview Avenue Auburn, ME 04210.
