Biography:
William Walter Pillar, 56, of Otisfield Maine passed away on September, 9th at the Hospice House in Auburn after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer..
He was born on July 25th, 1959 to Parents Walter William and Arlene (Hohensee) Pillar Jr.
He graduated from Henry Abbott Regional Vocational Technical, Danbury CT in 1978 with the nickname “spaceman”.
William enjoyed Taekwando, fishing, hunting, motorcycling, going to concerts, woodworking, traveling, cooking, gardening, and especially spending time with his friends and family.
He worked at Mega Systems, and more recently worked for QC Services in Harrison, Maine as a Field Calibration Engineer.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Bill was always smiling. I’ll miss his smile, he made me laugh every day-Janet
Surviving him are his loving wife, Janet Annis; sons Matt and Shane Pillar; stepdaughter Kailey Medlock and Husband Henry; stepson Joshua McLaughlin and wife Raeleen; and 8 grandchildren.
