Biography:

Fred E. "Bud" Pike Jr.,85, of Auburn passed away at home on Saturday, January 25th 2025. He was born in Auburn on September 18th, 1939, the son of Viola and Fred Pike Sr. He graduated from Edward Little High and spent four years in the US Navy. He married Judy Peterson on March 17, 1962. Bud was employed at the Sun Journal for 42 years. Bud enjoyed fishing, bowling, yard work, and card games.

He is survived by a daughter Carol Ann Malone of Lewiston, a son Carl Pike of Auburn, three grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Fred was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, his parents, a son Fred Pike III, a daughter Barbara Jean Callahan, a brother Bert Mason Jr, and sisters Dora Marcum and Kathy Alexander.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6 at 2pm at Mt. Auburn Cemetery 200 Mt. Auburn Ave, Auburn, ME.
