Biography:

Necia Raye Phillips (Hammond), 78, of Lisbon, Maine, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024, with family by her side. She was born on March 6, 1946, in Brunswick, Maine.
Necia dedicated her career to factory work at Eastland Shoe & Grumbacher's. She found joy in her work and was known for her dedication and hard work ethic.
She will be dearly missed and is survived by her sister, Charlotte (Cookie) Loveless of Topsham, ME; sons Mike Rogers of Bowdoinham, ME, and Ed Rogers of Topsham, ME; daughter Denise Siggins and husband, Clair Siggins of Bowdoin, ME; and grandchildren Alex, Beau, and Caylie Siggins of Bowdoin, ME. Necia was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen and Edwin McCorey of Brunswick, ME, and her partner, Byron Harrington of Bowdoin.
Necia was a member of the Bowdoinham Church of the Nazarene, where she found comfort and community. Outside of work, she enjoyed dancing, artwork, and roller skating.
A graveside service will be held at Grove's Cemetery in Freeport, ME, on June 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a gathering at the Fairground Cafe in Topsham, ME.
