Biography:

Lora Jane Pelletier, 69 of New Gloucester ME passed away unexpectedly April 9th at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston ME. She was born in Berlin NH to James and Lucy (Ferren) Batchelder formerly of Pembroke, NH. Lora graduated from Pembroke Academy in 1969. She was employed by Liberty Mutual for 24 years. Lora enjoyed time with her family and friends camping, crafting, doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking and reading. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Lora was known for her love of family and fun-loving sense of humor. She is survived by her daughter Andrea (Pelletier) Bourgeois of Pembroke, NH, son Ryan Pelletier of Washington State and granddaughter, Taylor Bourgeois of Manchester, NH, her sister Florence Woods and her husband Larry of Canterbury, NH and brother, James Batchelder and his wife Penny of Franklin, NH. Also survived by several nieces, a nephew and grandnieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize and thank her wonderful friends who supported her daily, allowing her to continue living on her own despite her medical challenges over the last several years.
