Biography:

Robert (Bob) J. Paradis

Peacefully passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 82. Bob was born at home on March 7, 1939 in Auburn, ME to parents Ralph and Eva Paradis. Loving father to Ryan Paradis, Roger (Jenna) Paradis and Ryk (Michelle) Paradis. Proud grandfather and great-grandfather to Joshua, Kaitlyn, Shawon, Delanie, Morgan, Landon and Myles.

Bob attended high school at Edward Little in Auburn and enlisted in the United States Army from 1960 – 1970, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a longtime employee at Pioneer Plastic and was an AA Counselor. Bob loved camping, hiking, the ocean, making a mean Kimchi and playing in his community band. He loved his dog Max and cat Babe. Bob was always ready for a good game of cribbage and did not hesitate to “skunk” anyone who played against him.

We would like to thank the staff at Interim Home Health, Arcadia Home Health, Maine VA and Russell Park Nursing Home for the love, dedication and care to Bob these past few years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings (Normand, Roland, Lucille and Carmen).

There will be a graveside service at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, May 15 at 9:00 am.
