Throughout her life, Joan was known for her compassion, resilience, and unwavering spirit. She faced her battle with cancer with grace, courage, and was surrounded by the love and support of her family. Especially her daughter Christy, who was her “rock” during the most challenging times and Ron who spent the last 26 years supporting, cherishing and helping Joan, even during the hardest days.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held sometime in early spring, as Joan loved spring and her beautiful flowers. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/donate.html.
May she rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished in our hearts.
