Biography:

Richard James O'Brien, of Lewiston, passed away on April 1, 2025.  He was born in South Boston on February 8, 1962 to William E. O'Brien and Grace E. (Harvey) O'Brien.

He worked at Brigham's Restaurant in South Boston as a teen, and worked at Pioneer Plastics in Auburn after moving to Maine in the early 90's until 2018.

Richard enjoyed bowling, getting together with family, watching movies and the Boston Bruins hockey.  He loved reading, cooking and taking care of his kids.

He was predeceased by his wife Angela, his daughter Heather, his parents, sisters Kathy and Beth, nephew Kevin, and Father in Law Benjamin.

He is survived by son Branden O'Brien, his sister Denise and her children Michelle and Eric, his brother Edward (Eddie) and his wife Betty and their daughter Lauren.  Also surviving are his Brother in Law David and his children David Jr., Brenda and Nichole, his Brother in Law Ronnie and his son Billy, his Mother in Law Linda and her daughters Alison, Dawn, Missy and Tammy.  Also many nieces and nephews, and Great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held at a later date.
