Biography:

BATH - Glenn Murray, 82, of Bath, ME and Middlebury, CT, died on September 20, 2018, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough, ME

He was born in Waterbury, CT on February 7th, 1936, the son of William Murray and Irma Jessel.

Glenn attended the University of Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Army where he played coronet in the Army band, and later was an active member, also serving as Senior Warden, of St. Georges Church in Middlebury, CT.

Glenn worked at the Bristol Company in Waterbury CT for over 25 years as an Electrical Engineer.

He is survived by three sons, Bruce Murray of Southbury, CT, Craig Murray and his wife Suzy of West Bath ME, and Andrew Murray of Phippsburg, ME.

At Glenn's request his sons will scatter his ashes at the mouth of the Kennebec from his son Craig's boat.
A private family service will be held at St. Georges Church in Middlebury, CT at a later date.
