Sue A. Mueller

Biography:

Scarborough- Sue A. Mueller of Scarborough died Sunday, October 9th, 2011. She was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of Kenneth MacLean Archibold, MD and Delma Carmon. She attended St. Agnes School, Loudonville, NY, graduated from Wheaton College, Norton, MA and attended Katherine GIbbs in New York City. 

Mrs. Mueller was formerly employed by Emma Willard School, Troy, NY, and the University of New England, Portland, ME. 

She was past president and trustee of the Albany, NY, YWCA, former member of the Fort Orange Garden Club of America and member of the Children's Visiting Board, Maine Medical Center. 

Mrs. Mueller's interests were her family, flower arranging, reading, travel, golf and other outdoor sports. She spent summers at Oak Point, Hammomd, NY, near the Thousand Islands.

 Surviving are her husband of fifty years, Alfred S. Mueller; son, Scott Mueller and his wife Denise, Redwood NY; daughters Melinda Mueller, Lakewood, CA and Whitney Fitzgerald, and her husband, Tim, Great Falls, VA; and four grandchildren. 

A private graveside service will be held at the Albany Rural Cemetery at a later date. Those who wish may send donations to the Albany Medical College Foundation, The Kenneth M. Archibold Prize, 43 New Scotland Ave., MC 119, Albany, NY 12208.
