Biography:

Claire T. Morin—Lewiston--Claire T. Mathieu Morin passed away on July 18, 2018 at hospice house in Auburn. Claire was born in Lewiston on April 7, 1944, the daughter of the late L. Vincent and Delice Rioux Mathieu. She lived in Lewiston all her life. Claire married Richard Morin on May 2, 1964 at Ste. Croix Church. She worked at Central Maine Community Credit Union for 23 years. Claire enjoyed knitting, shopping and walks at the ocean and a very special place in her heart for Orr's Island. Claire is survived by her spouse, Richard, two sons, Paul and his wife Denise and John, two grandchildren Lee Morin and wife Dayle and Kim Morin and a special niece Michelle Blouin Fraser and family of Candia, New Hampshire. Claire was predeceased by her parents, and a sister Lorraine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 28 at 11 am. At Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon Street, Lewiston with burial to follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Switzerland Road, Lewiston. In lieu of flowers donations in Claire's memory may be made to Trinity Jubilee Center, 247 Bates Street, Lewiston.
