Biography:
Lewiston – Reynald A. Moreau "Rey", 83, of Lewiston passed away at CMMC on July 6, 2016. He was born in Lewiston on August 29, 1932 a son of the late Dominic and Antoinette (Guenette) Moreau.
Rey spent 20 years serving his country retiring from the U.S. Air Force holding the rank of Major. He was involved in M.O.W.W. where he was a recent commander. He also served as General Service Officer at the national level for the entire New England Region from the Joshua Chamberlain Chapter for 2 years. Rey was also involved with M.O.A.A.
Rey is survived by his loving wife Joyce, stepchildren David DeRosa, Donna and Philip Klingman, as well as his grandchildren: Lindsey, Katie, and Madison DeRosa, Austin Fournier, and Cameron, Gabriel, Emily, and Jeremiah Kingman. Rey also leaves behind his sister Marge of Washinton State.
Rey was predeceased by his parents and his brothers; Julien, Bert, and his baby brother Louie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lewiston on Wednesday, July 13 at 1:30. Refreshments to follow at the Elks Lodge. At Rey's request there will be no viewing. Donations may be made in Rey's memory to a veteran's organization of your choice.
