Biography:

Victoria M. Michaud—Lisbon—Victoria M. Michaud ('Queen Victoria'), 95, of Lisbon passed away peacefully on March 22 at Clover Manor. She was born on May 25, 1921 to William and Bruna Comisky. She married Russell Michaud and raised their family of four children in Lisbon. Vicky worked for many years at local textile mills then, after retirement, worked at Chuck's Deli in Lisbon Falls. Vicky enjoyed traveling including her lifelong dream of visiting Alaska and Hawaii. Vicky spent many winters in Carrollton, Texas with her daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Bob Burdick. She was a fantastic cook and had a knack of making the best meals out of whatever she had on hand, especially her homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade dumplings. Vicky loved gardening, watching and feeding wild birds and spending time with friends and family. She will be lovingly remembered by daughters Jean Dwinal of Lisbon, Priscilla Kilby of Auburn, Linda Burdick and son-in-law Bob of Lisbon Falls, daughter-in-law, Cynthia Michaud of Lisbon and grandchildren; Stephen Michaud, Kimberly Stevens, Cindy Dooen, Denise Gravel, Gary Kilby and Christine Dube, and their spouses. Vicky had nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She will be missed by her beloved cat, Noelle. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell, son, Norman, siblings, Edward Comisky, Virginia Bendlak, Geneva Comisky, sons-in-law, Bob Dwinal and Kenneth Kilby, and dear friend, Vivian Burrows. A celebration of Vicky's life will be held on Sunday, April 2 from 1:30-4:30 at the American Legion Hall, Webster Road, Lisbon. Burial will be in the spring at Maine Memorial Veteran's Cemetery in Augusta. Sincere thanks to Steve, Kim, Ryan and Tina at Clover Manor as well as the incredible support and care from Margaret, Mona and Michelle from Androscoggin Hospice.
