BRUNSWICK - Constance Harriet McLean died unexpectedly at Mid Coast Hospital March 4, 2017. She was born in Portland, Maine on November 7, 1940, the daughter of Harriet and E. Allan McLean.

She graduated from Waynflete School and Westbrook Junior College in Portland Maine.

She worked in the CSD department at Maine Medical Center for 20 years before retiring in 2006

She was predeceased by her parents and younger brother, Allan C. McLean. She is survived by her older sister, Janet and her husband M. Robert Hunt; sister-in-law, Mary Ann McLean; three nephews, Colin, his daughter Aislyn, Ian, his sons Cormack and Finlay, and Duncan, his son Iver and daughter Reeve; two nieces, Virginia Hunt, her daughter Alee and son Bryan; and Megan Farris, her sons Nolan, Liam and Kelly; and her devoted friend and roommate Maria Otero.

She was active in local social and alumnae groups, and had a life long interest in art and music. During her life she had, and loved, several cats and West Highland Terriers.

At her request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Private internment will take place at a later date.
