Biography:

Heather Jean (Tower) Maxim, 62, of Augusta, passed away  peacefully on Sunday, July 20^th, 2014 at MaineGeneral, after a long period of illness.

She was raised in Scituate, MA and graduated from Clarke School for the Deaf.

Heather was well known for her love of cats and the color purple. Her hobbies included crocheting afghans and especially sewing intricate cross stitch projects.

Heather was predeceased by her beloved husband Nelson G. Maxim. She is survived by her sister Cheryl (Tower) Murdock of Dunnellon, FL; niece Christina M. Squires of Ocala, FL; aunt Margaret Harris of Edgecomb; 4 sisters-in-law Edith and Rosemary Maxim of Winthrop, Barbara Sanbury of Augusta, Sally Carey of Palm Bay, FL. She also
