Biography:

Dora L. Marcum, 89, of Lewiston died at home on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023. She was born in East Auburn on January 16, 1934 to parents Fred E. and Viola (Kiesman) Pike.

Dora was a long time employee of the Sun Journal, retiring in 1999.

She is survived by her three sons, Robert and his wife Jeri of Marysville, OH, Richard of Andover, and Randall of Lewiston; grandchildren Jennifer, Robert, Jacob, and Justin; six great grandchildren; and her brother, Fred E. Pike Jr.

She was predeceased by her parents; sister Kathleen Alexander; brother Bert Mason; and her husband of 62 years, Robert R. Marcum.

The family would like to thank her best friend Sue Levasseur and the Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice.

A graveside service will be held privately in the spring at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner St. Auburn Maine 04210. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dora's name to Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave. Lewiston, ME 04240.
