Paul Lawrence Main Jr., aged 63, passed away on July 26, 2024, in Augusta, ME. Born on December 3, 1960, in Lewiston, ME, Paul dedicated four years of service to the Coast Guard, a testament to his commitment and patriotism.

Following his military service, Paul embarked on a diverse career path. He spent years as a long-haul truck driver, a corrections officer, and most recently worked as a traffic flagger. His work ethic was unmatched, and he took great pride in each of his roles.

Paul was known for his easygoing nature. He cherished his family and friends deeply, and his beloved dog, Bella, was a constant source of joy. Even after retiring three years ago due to health reasons, he remained active, taking pride in maintaining his home and landscaping his yard.

Paul was a proud alumnus of Edward Littke High School, class of 1979. His life was a reflection of his values: hard work, dedication, and love for his family.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth McCrillis; sister, Paula Robinson; brother-in-law, Andrew Robinson; nephews, Adam and Cameron Robinson; half brother, Sheldon Main; and step-brother, Andrew Main. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Main Sr., and step-brother, James Main.

A service to celebrate Paul's life will be held on Wednesday, August 7th at 10:00 am, Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa Street, Lewiston, ME. His legacy will be remembered by all who knew him, as a devoted family man, a proud veteran, and a caring friend.
