Biography:

Valere “Buck” Madore—Lewiston--Valere “Buck” Madore, 95, passed away on January 21, 2022 at Hospice House in Auburn with family at his side. He was born September 30, 1926 in Burlington, Vermont, the son of Emile and Lena Corbeil Madore. They moved to Biddeford, Maine at an early age and he attended St. Andre School. On June 11, 1949 he married Irene Lariviere and they were married 67 years and had two sons. Buck worked and lived in the Biddeford area all his life until retiring in 1988 and moving to Venice, Florida. He was predeceased by his wife Irene and his brothers Leo, Roger, Clovis and his sister Isabelle. He is survived by two sons, Raymond and his wife Louise of Lewiston, Donald and his wife Patricia of Biddeford, four grandchildren, Elaine Johnson and husband Aaron of Merrimack NH, Michelle Chessie and husband Andrew of Sabattus, Angela Madore and companion, Anthony Leighton and Robert Madore of Biddeford, five great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Ayden, Joseph, Riley and Brian, one brother, Ralph and one sister, Simone and husband Henry Lemelin of Saco and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford on April 27 at 11 a.m.
