Peter Alan Lockhart

Biography:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Lockhart, 70, of Auburn Maine. Husband of Lisa (Agurkis) Lockhart,whom he married on a beautiful day in China Maine on June 4th 2004. Peter was a courageous man with many health conditions until his passing on September 16 2024. His love for Lisa was unconditional with many happy trips around the state and special time with his grandchildren… He had a love of the Boston Red Sox and the Patriots as well as hunting at his family's camp in Palermo.

Peter graduated from Erskine academy in So. China in 1971 and attended Washington Community Technical School in Calais for electrical construction, working beside his father in the electrical business before going to Bath Iron Works for 17 years as a marine electrician and finally worked at Ace Security before becoming disabled.

Peter was predeceased by his father Frank and mother Marian of China, and his uncles Donald, Lloyd & aunt Liesal Lockhart. 

Peter is survived by his wife, 3 boys, Justin (Stephanie), Jeremy (Krystle) and Travis. Brother Roger (Mary) of So. China, nephew J.R (Stacey) and children Gwen & Owen also niece Sara & Jay of Georgia, grandchildren; Hayden, Hunter, Piper, Josh, Tyler & Trent. Great Grandchildren; Schyloh, Emmit, and Leo. Cousins Donald (Robin) of South Carolina, Sandy & (Dominick) Lupachino, Connecticut, Eunice and Bob Johnson, Barry and Gail Mitchell, mother in law Priscilla Agurkis, sister and brother in law Stephanie Agurkis and Briggs Seekins.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to the staff at Clover Manor and the Dialysis Center in Auburn. A celebration of life will be Friday October 4th at China Baptist Church in South China, Maine at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation in Peters name.
