Biography:

Normand O. Lavigne—Sabattus--Normand O. Lavigne, 83, who was born September 30, 1937 died April 29, 2021 in Auburn after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Woburn Canada to Armand and Marieange Lavigne. Normand was a longtime resident of Lewiston during his 49 year marriage to Laurette Lavigne where they raised 4 children. He was employed for over 40 years at Pioneer Plastics in Auburn retiring in 2009. Normand was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church and enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, snowmobiling, four wheeling and boating. He is survived by his four children, Michael and wife Anne Marie of Lewiston, Diane and husband Michael Labrecque of Sabattus, Paul and wife Anne Marie Lavigne of Belchertown, MA and Sue Donovan of Lisbon; sister, Armande Aubut of Augusta, seven grandchildren: Lauren Lavigne, Andre and Chantal Marquis, Derek and Audrey Lavigne and Karen and Haley Donovan, great grandchildren: Orion and Felix Lavigne, Jayden, Stasha, Reese and Sloane Marquis and Grayson Donovan. He was predeceased by his wife Laurette Lavigne, Claire Lavigne, brother Luc Lavigne and grandson, Peter Donovan. A graveside service will be held on Friday May 14 at 11 a.m. At St. Peter Cemetery, Switzerland Road in Lewiston.
