Luc-Lin "Luc" Lavigne

Biography:
Luc-Lin D. Lavigne, 79, of Augusta, ME passed away on May 26th, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born in Woburn, Canada on December 17th, 1938 to parents Armand and Marie-Ange Lavigne.
Prior to his retirement, Luc worked for Kirchiners for 12 years, and then for the Maine Turnpike retiring after 10 years. After he retired, he went to work part time for NRF Distributers for 10 years.
He was a member of the Calumet Club, and a former member of the Trailblazers and Elks Club. He enjoyed camping, traveling in his motorhome, fishing, and spending time by the fire with the warmth of his family and friends. There was always lots of laughter. He said when he went fishing, “I always have my fishing pole ready to drown worms”.
Lastly, his family will remember how he liked to tease!
He loved his pets, and mourned the passing of Buffy and Casey. A year later, he drove to Baltimore to pick up his new love, Chloe.
Luc was predeceased by his parents; and 3 children, Daniel Lavigne of Augusta, Leanne Hart of Winthrop, and Marie Anne Lavigne of Manchester.
He will continue to be loved and missed by his wife and best friend of 38 years, Beverly (Boggs) Lacroix-Lavigne of Augusta; brother Normand and wife Claire Lavigne of Vassalboro; sister, Armande Aubut of Augusta; and a sister-in-law, Gloria McGregor of Falmouth; 3 children, Monique Lavigne and companion Jason of Windsor, Patrick Lavigne and companion Anita of Augusta, and Lisa and husband Scott Morin of Belgrade; 5 stepchildren, Ray and wife Kathy Allen of Maryland, Kenny and wife Liz Allen of Winthrop, Patty and husband Mike Lucas of Winthrop, Lisa Lacroix and companion Rick of Chelsea, and Steve and wife Mary Lacroix of Augusta; he also has several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many good friends.
There will be no funeral or visitation per his wishes. A celebration of Luc’s life will be held privately at a later date.
