Biography:
Normand J LaRoche passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2025 with the love of his life at his side. Norm or as his friends called him, "Roach" was born in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High school. Norm spent his younger years working construction and then later became a salesman at Pineland Lumber spending over 20 years there until he retired. Norm played hockey and loved boxing which he inherited from his grandfather who was an amateur boxer in the Lewiston area. Norm had a love for the outdoors, camping, fishing , boating, and especially the ocean where he spent most of the summer months on the beach and traveling with his love Jackie exploring the coast of Maine and trying to visit all the lighthouses of the State. Mostly, Norm loved spending his time with family and friends spreading his warmth, love, and humor. He loved to make people laugh telling his jokes and funny stories. Norm is survived by the love of his life Jackie Poulin and children Sandra and Darin, Shannon and Larry, Scott and Liz, Steve and Dee, and their loving pets Izzy and Belle, daughter's Heather Chapman and husband William, Renee Bedoni and husband Carl. 5 grandchildren, Ryan LaRoche and wife Sarah, Kassi Chapman and fiancé Jon Patterson, Marcelina Stansell, Kaleb Collazo, Llesenia Collazo, and 6 great grandchildren, Natalie and Julian LaRoche, Grayson Patterson, Neila and Azriel Stansell, and Kaleah Collazo and cousins, Roger, Gene, Ron, and Michael LaRoche and Cecile Paradis, whom he considered his brothers and sister, and many friends whom he loved very much. He was pre deceased by his mother Anita LaRoche
There will be a celebration of life to come in August.
