Biography:

Greene – Leo RJ Landry, 78, passed away, after recently being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at home with his loving wife, Linda, by his side.
Leo was born July 22, 1940, to parents Adelard and Angelina Landry. He was educated in Lewiston Schools and was a graduate of the St. Dominic HS Class of 1958.

Leo worked as a machinist specializing in sewing machine repair at local shoe and boot factories. In addition, Leo and his brother Maurice owned and operated L & M Vending from 1975-1995. Leo continued his repair skills at Cote Brothers before retiring. During his retirement, he started Leo's Sewing Machine Service, repairing and servicing machines for many customers until his illness. Leo enjoyed fishing with his boys and later with "Great Northern" and ice fishing with friends. He also enjoyed photography, maintaining a small garden of tomatoes and cucumbers and traveling with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Leo was predeceased by his brother Joseph "Roger" Landry and his niece, Denise Arena. He is survived by his wife, Linda Landry, who will remember him as a wonderful, loving, respectful, caring and humorous husband who will be greatly missed. He is also survived by, Daughter:  Chrisie Landry, Sons: Marcel Landry and his wife Monique, Randy Landry and his wife Joan, Paul Landry, Scott Landry and his companion Stephanie Nadeau, Brother:  Maurice Landry and his wife Ethel, Sisters-in-law:  Nadette Landry, Jeannine Hotham, Kathy Bergeron and her husband John. Grandchildren:  Nicole, Jennifer, Alex, Lisa, Lauren and Brady Landry as well as several nieces and nephews.  He also leaves behind his special friends:  Richard and Jackie Camire and Thomas (Jerry) and Rochelle Hart.

A private service will be held at Gracelawn Memorial.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to dempseycenter.org.
